LPPCHEA CLEAN UP: Senator Cynthia A. Villar leads hundreds of students, workers from the government and private sector, and volunteers in cleaning of the shoreline of Manila Bay at the LPPCHEA in observance of the anniversary of the signing of the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance. The senator, a known advocate of the environment said they are taking part in the celebration to raise public awareness on the important of wetlands and drum up support for their protection and conversation. LPPCHEA is among the six wetlands in the country in the Ramsar list of Wetlands of International Importance.
