SUSPEND MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 8: Sen. Cynthia Villar who presided over the hearing of the Committee on Public Services Sub-Committee "E", pushed for the suspension of the implementation of Memorandum Circular No. 8, Series of 2014, issued by the Manila International Airport Authority. Villar said the directive, which integrates terminal fees into airline tickets, brings additional burden to overseas Filipino workers who are exempted from paying airport fees as mandated by the Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995. Villar was joined by Senate Majority Leader Alan Cayetano, Senators Nancy Binay and Koko Pimentel.
