PUBLIC SCHOOLS: Senator Pia Cayetano, Committee on Education, Arts and Culture chair, presides over Monday’s hearing on House bills renaming, establishing, and converting public schools around the country. Earlier, Cayetano welcomed the passage of the 'Iskolar ng Bayan' Act (Republic Act No. 10648) which grants the top graduates of the public high schools scholarship to help them in their quest for higher education.
