COOPERATIVES VS. POVERTY: Working together, Senator Cynthia A. Villar, chair of the Senate committees on agriculture and government enterprises, says cooperatives can further enhance the benefits of their members and strengthen their role in the development of a community. She call on cooperatives to promote self-reliance and to harness people power when she delivers her speech during the Simbayanan ni Maria Multipurpose Cooperative 24th Annual General Assembly & Election of Officers in Taguig City. She also went around and personally talk to cooperative members about their programs.
