ARAW NG KAGITINGAN: Senator Cynthia A. Villar leads the commemoration of the 73rd Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) at the Battle of Zapote Bridge in Zapote, Las Piñas City. The senator also recently led the unveiling of new Zapote Battlefield marker in the same area to mark the 118th anniversary of the 1897 Battle of Zapote Bridge, one of the turning points of the Philippine Revolution of 1897. She said it is but fitting to honor those who bravely fought and offer their lives for the love of freedom and our country.
