CLIMATE CHANGE HEARING: The Senate Committee on Climate Change, chaired by Sen. Loren Legarda, conducted a hearing today, Tuesday, with the members of the Climate Change Commission (CCC) to discuss the country’s contribution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Legarda encouraged countries to cut down on pollution by reducing fossil fuel consumption, promoting the use of renewable energy, and assisting developing nations that are most vulnerable to the effects of environmental degradation and climate change.
