OMBUDSMAN BUDGET HEARING: Senator Loren Legarda, Chairperson of the Senate Finance Committee, asks the Office of the Ombudsman to coordinate with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Climate Change Commission regarding the implementation of environmental laws during the budget hearing of the agency. There is an Environmental Ombudsman who is tasked to ensure that environmental laws are observed and implemented.
