DRILON OPENS SENATE CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION: Senate President Franklin M. Drilon speaks before Senate officials and employees during Monday’s flag raising ceremony which kicked off the year-long Senate Centennial Celebration. Citing a recent survey which showed an increase in public confidence in the institution, Drilon acknowledged that the public's expression of confidence in the Senate would not have been possible without everyone's support, hard work, and dedication. “I sincerely thank each one of you for your outstanding service to the institution and to the Filipino people, and I encourage you to remain tireless in rendering excellent service,” Drilon said.
