URBAN PLANNING: In line with her advocacy of promoting vegetable farming in urban areas, Senator Cynthia A. Villar, chair of the Senate Food and Agriculture committee, leads the Villar SIPAG launching of its Urban Farming training program. The three-month training program is in partnership with Allied Botanical Corporation, the producer of Condor Seeds. The launch at the Villar SIPAG Urban Farm School was also attended by nutritionists and agriculturists from Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Las Pinas, Taguig, Pateros, Dasmarinas, Bacoor and Tagaytay. Also in the photo was Michael Cabales (in blue polo), president of the Allied Botanical Corp.
