SENATOR ERNESTO HERRERA, CHAMPION OF THE WORKING CLASS: Senate President Franklin M. Drilon delivers a eulogy for the late Senator and labor leader Ernesto “Boy” Herrera, whose remains arrived at the Senate for a necrological service held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Drilon, a long-time colleague of Herrera since the 70’s, said that the late lawmaker was a principled and distinguished public servant, who will continue to inspire many generations of labor leaders and lawmakers. “It is my distinct honor and privilege to have worked with him in a number of labor issues in this august chamber.
