INVESTIGATING THE MRT: Senator Grace Poe, chair of the Senate Subcommittee on Public Services, questions officials of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) led by Secretary Jun Abaya during the resumption of a public hearing on the problems plaguing the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) 3. Poe is also looking into the increasing incidents of train malfunction and accidents involving the MRT, which conveys 650, 000 passengers daily, twice its capacity of 350,000.
