LIVER TRANSPLANT OPERATION BABIES PHILIPPINES (LITRO): Christmas cheer for Biliary Atresia patients. Senator Nancy Binay initiated a small gathering for the families of Liver Transplant Operation Babies Philippines (LITRO), a SEC-registered charitable organization that supports Biliary Atresia patients, at the Manila Ocean Park on December 10, 2016. Supporting biliary atresia patients and promoting awareness on the disease are among Senator Binay's advocacies. Over 40 patients and their families came to join in the festivities. Biliary Atresia is a life-threatening disease that affects the liver in children and its treatment is considered high risk and very expensive.
