SEN. CYNTHIA VILLAR BATS FOR QUALITY FOODS: Sen. Cynthia A. Villar calls on the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Product Standards (BAFPS) to continue to uphold consumer protection and food safety through the implementation of quality standards and strict certification procedures. The senator, chair of the Senate committee on agriculture and food, was the Guest of Honor during the 19th founding anniversary of BAFPS. She also led the ribbon-cutting ceremony during the celebration.
