Villar commends agripreneurship: Speaking during the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Agricultural Research 14th Agricultural and Fisheries Technology Forum and Product Exhibition at SM Megatrade Hall, Mandaluyong City, Sen. Cynthia Villar cites the need for concerted efforts to improve our standing in the area of mechanization due to its benefits to the agricultural sector.The senator, chair of the Senate agriculture committee, stresses that mechanization can bring down the cost of labor particularly for labor-intensive crops. “Let us give competitive edge to our farmers and fishermnen to get them out of poverty,” said Villar.
