8th Organic Agriculture Month Celebration: Senator Cynthia Villar together with DA Senior Undersecretary Domingo Panganiban leads the opening of the 8th Organic Agriculture Month Celebration, today, November 7,2022 at the Department of Agriculture Central office in Quezon City. The Senator highlighted that organic agriculture is one of her advocacies, initiating the building of composting facilities in her hometown in Las Piñas that process organic fertilizer out of kitchen and garden wastes. She is also the proponent of RA 11511, or the Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) an amendment to the National Organic Agriculture Law which aims to strengthen the organic practice.
