Future proof 2023 budget: Sen. Pia Cayetano co-sponsors Tuesday, November 8, 2022, what she described as a future-proof 2023 national budget using strategic foresight to help uphold intergenerational fairness. Cayetano, senior vice chairperson of the Committee on Finance, also expressed her readiness to provide her colleagues with answers to their questions during the plenary budget deliberations to support the agencies particularly the Department of Health, the Department of Education, the Commission on Higher Education, state colleges and universities, the cultural agencies and the Development Academy of the Philippines. “We heard the agencies using the lens of futures thinking and the sustainable development goals as the main blueprint and guide to help attain the different goals for a more sustainable and prosperous future,” Cayetano added.
