Investing on K-12 program: Sen. Alan Peter S. Cayetano scrutinizes the Department of Education’s (DepEd) implementation of the K-12 program Monday, November 14, 2022. During the Senate deliberations on the proposed P678.1 billion 2023 budget of the DepEd and its attached agencies, Cayetano stressed the importance of investing more on the K-12 program to fully realize its promise of quality education and immediate employment for Filipinos. “Either we suspend the K-12, let us say five to 10 years, until we all have the resources or we start funding the K-12 as it was envisioned,” Cayetano said.
