The Senate welcomes H.E. Vuong Dinh Hue, President of the National Assembly of Vietnam: Senate President Juan Miguel F. Zubiri welcomes His Excellency, Vuong Dinh Hue, President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, at the Philippine Senate on Wednesday, 23 November 2022. National Assembly President Hue leads the high-level Delegation from the National Assembly of Vietnam on an official visit to the Philippines from 23-25 November 2022, upon the invitation of Senate President Zubiri. H.E. Hue is the 4th highest ranking official in Vietnam’s political structure after the General Secretary to the Vietnamese Communist Party, their President and their Prime Minister. Vietnam is also one of only three Strategic Partners of the Philippines and also the Philippines’ sole strategic partner in the ASEAN. This high-level visit aims to forge closer parliamentary ties between the Philippines and Vietnam and further strengthen the two countries’ warm and robust relationship. (Senate OIRP/PRIB)
