Padilla stands firm on separate voting in amending the constitution: Sen. Robinhood Padilla joins his fellow senators in defending the Philippine Constitution against attempts to undermine it through the so-called people’s initiative involving the joint voting of both houses of Congress. During Tuesday’s plenary session, January 23, 2024, Padilla particularly cited the proposal to have the Senate and the House of Representatives vote jointly in amending the Constitution.
