COMMENDATION FOR TEACHERS: Senate President Manny Villar and Sen. Richard Gordon led the Senate in commending this year’s 10 Outstanding Teachers of the Metrobank Foundation. The Senate adopted Resolution No. 104, which recognizes the essential role of teachers in educational advancement, their important contributions in the development of humanity and modern society, and their rights as members of a highly regarded profession. The 2007 awardees included four elementary teachers, four secondary and two higher education teachers.
