United Kingdom: Sa imbitasyon ng British Group Inter-Parliamentary Union, nagpunta po tayo sa United Kingdom kasama sina Sen. Grace Poe at Sen. Bong Go para magkaroon ng meetings with the members of the UK Parliament.

Bilang bahagi ng ating official visit, napaunlakan tayo ni Sir Lindsday Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons, na mapag-usapan kung paano pa mapapalakas ang UK-Philippines friendship, lalo na sa larangan ng defense and security, renewable energy, public health, trade and industry, tourism, at people-to-people exchanges—lalo na dahil meron tayong lagpas 200,000 OFWs sa UK, at ang UK ang ating pinakamalaking tourist market sa buong Europa.

Thank you for the very warm welcome, Mr. Speaker! We look forward to our continued bilateral relations with the United Kingdom.
