AMBASSADOR ENVOY WARMLY WELCOMES JINGGOY: Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada visited Australian Ambassador H.E. Tony Hely at the Embassy of Australia in Makati to talk about the two Filipino – Pedro Balading, 35, and Wilfredo Navales, 43 – who died allegedly due to breaches of their visa conditions. Ambassador Hely gave assurance to Senator Estrada, chairman of the Senate Committee on Labor and that of the Congressional Oversight Committee on Labor and Employment, that the Australian government will help the relatives of Balading and Navales in their quest for justice. Likewise, Ambassador Hely said, the Australian government will be implementing new measures to ensure protection of Filipino workers hired thru 457 Visa Scheme.
