“FIGHT ON PHILIPPINES!”: Senator Richard J. Gordon, chairman of the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC), cheered on the Filipinos, especially the victims of tropical storm Ondoy, to fight on as the nation rises from the devastation caused by the recent typhoon. He also urged everyone to pull resources and put all hands on the deck and share in lifting the load. On Wednesday, Gordon spearheaded a clean up drive in evacuation centers in Quezon City and Marikina. The senator together with Red Cross 143 volunteers visited the Macapagal and Benitez elementary schools in Quezon City; and the Nangka and H. Bautista elementary schools in Marikina.
