Zubiri sponsors reso to release DSWD undisbursed funds: Sen. Juan Miguel “Migz” F. Zubiri sponsors a resolution he authored, Senate Resolution No. 574, urging the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to fast track the release of its undisbursed funds amounting to P83 billion to help the victims in calamity-stricken areas and workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic who are mostly beneficiaries of 4Ps and other programs of the DSWD where most of the funds are allocated for. “It has been observed that people are clamoring for help, workers and employees displaced by the pandemic and victims of the typhoons, but their pleas remained unanswered,” Zubiri said during hybrid plenary session Monday, November 23, 2020.
