Arrest Ong: Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon calls for the immediate arrest of Lincoln Ong, an official of Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation, for evading senators’ queries during the continuation of the investigation on the 2020 Commission on Audit (COA) report on the utilization of the Department of Health (DOH) budget, particularly on its expenditures for the Covid-19 program Friday, September 10, 2021. “Clearly, the corporation had no capacity to pay the initial order of P54 million. This witness is both evasive and refuses to answer, or telling a lie, and therefore he has been declared in contempt. We move that the contempt order be now executed, and we now send our sheriff, our security people, to arrest Mr. Ong right now,” Drilon said. (Screen grab/Senate PRIB)
