Beacons of hope amid pandemic: Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla Jr., during Tuesday’s hybrid plenary session November 9, 2021, expresses his full support for the adoption of Proposed Senate Resolution No. 838 honoring and commending the awardees of the Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos of 2021. Revilla said the teachers’ “pioneering work” had become solutions to the education sector in this time of the pandemic. He said the soldiers’ “gallant and heroic contributions” deserve a snappy salute. Furthermore, the police officers’ accomplishments in anti-drugs campaign, reducing crime volume and peace and order promotion are laudable. “They are the beacons of hope for the country’s recovery amid this COVID crisis, and they embody the very best of Filipinos, especially in public service,” Revilla said.
