Villar resumes deliberation on COA head appointment: Commission on Appointments Committee on Constitutional Commissions and Offices Chairperson Cynthia Villar presides over Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the continuation of the panel deliberation on the ad interim appointment of Gamaliel Cordoba as chairperson of the Commission on Audit. Cordoba served as commissioner of the National Telecommunications Commission before he was appointed as the country’s chief auditor by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in October replacing resigned COA chairperson Jose Calida.
