Hearing on pompano, salmon selling ban: Sen. Cynthia Villar, chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture, Food, and Agrarian Reform presides over the hearing on the issue of pompano and salmon selling ban raised by Sen. Raffy Tulfo in his privilege speech. During the hearing Monday, December 12, 2022, Villar urged officials of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources to finally establish the first border facility which was already budgeted since 2019. “This year, we are also giving money for three first border facilities, so that should not be controversial anymore,” Villar added.
