Sen Pia Cayetano to receive World No Tobacco Day award from WHO: Philippine Senator Pia S. Cayetano is one of this year's recipients of the World No Tobacco Day Award from the World Health Organization. A known health advocate, Cayetano championed several landmark laws on health, including the Sin Tax Laws of 2012 and 2020, the Food and Drug Administration Act of 2009, and the 2014 law requiring the printing of graphic health warnings on the packaging of cigarettes and tobacco products.
