Senator Tolentino leads commemoration of National Flag Day: Senator Francis ‘TOL’ N. Tolentino on Sunday led the country’s commemoration of the National Flag Day in Imus City, Cavite. The said event also commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Battle of Alapan—considered the first military victory of the Filipino Revolutionary Army under General Emilio F. Aguinaldo, following his return from exile in Hong Kong.

Pinangunahan ni Senador Francis 'TOL' N. Tolentino nitong Linggo ang pagdiriwang ng National Flag Day sa Lungsod ng Imus, Lalawigan ng Cavite. Ginunita rin sa nasabing okasyon ang ika-125 anibersaryo ng Labanan sa Alapan, na itinuturing na unang tagumpay ng hukbong rebolusyonaryo sa ilalim ni Hen. Emilio F. Aguinaldo laban sa pwersang Español matapos siyang bumalik mula sa Hong Kong.
