KIKO ON THE PRESS CONFERENCE OF
THE MAJORITY CONGRESSMEN

"This latest development is most unfortunate. After the spectacle in the House last week, whatever public goodwill, trust and respect they had is gone and so they are in no position to give ultimatums."

"Instead of setting an ultimatum, we had hoped that they issued a public apology to the Filipino people and begged for forgiveness for their wanton disregard for the rule of law and the Constitution."

"This ultimatum, like their invitation for the Senate to attend the bogus Constituent Assembly, should be rejected. With all due respect, naghahanap lang sila ng ibang paraan upang makuha ang makasarili nilang kagustuhan. Nabuko na sila ngtaumbayan na mulat na sa kanilang kalokohan. Itigil na ang walang patid na pambobola. The rule of the majority in the House should never transgress the rule of law."
