Senator Mar Roxas today joined thousands of anti-Charter change protesters in Makati City and vowed to help crush the creepy plot of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and her allies to railroad constitutional amendments and lift term limits to perpetuate themselves to unending power.

Unable to control his anger at the brazen attempt by allies of President Arroyo to ram through Charter Change without the consent and participation of the Senate, Roxas used a common Filipino expletive and asked why GMA and her allies don't want to leave Malacañang.

"Putang-ina naman! Ibasura ang Gloria Forever Cha-Cha! (My gosh, won't you leave your position?)," Roxas fumed.

"Niloloko nila tayo ... Nagugutom ang mga tao, nagtitiis na maghugas ng puwet ng dayuhan sa ibang bansa ang ating mga kamag-anak .. pero ang gusto nila ay manatitili pa sila sa pwesto! ," he stressed.

The Ilonggo senator said President Arroyo should not play deaf to the echo of the people's rejection of her administration's Cha-Cha.

"Ginagago tayo ni Joc-Joc at ng mga kasabwat ng fertilizer scam, sa ZTE at sa iba pa. (We are being fooled by people like Joc-Joc Bolante and his cohorts in the fertilizer scam, in the ZTE scam and others)," he said.
