KIKO PANGILINAN JOINS LEGAL COMMUNITY IN SOLIDARITY
MARCH AGAINST MIDNIGHT APPOINTMENT

Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan joins the legal community in opposing midnight appointments by Malacanang.

Speaking in front of 500 representatives from the legal community in front of Padre Faura, Pangilinan hopes to create a snowball effect in drumming up support from different sectors of society.

"We call on Malacanang anew to let the next President choose the new Chief of Justice. We also call on the JBC to resist any effort of the Executive to fast track the process that may put the SC in a precarious position."

"A vigilant stand must be taken to avert what could be a constitutional crisis besetting the SC."
