NO TO INHUMAN PUNISHMENT: Its about time to take the bill repealing the death penalty out of the backburner, Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Q. Pimentel, Jr. (PDP-Laban) said has urged the Senate and House of Representatives to now debate on the controversial proposal on the floor. Speaking before a public forum on the death penalty at the Senate, Pimentel said there are enough numbers in both legislative chambers to approve the bill, which President Arroyo promised to certify as urgent.
