VILLAR WELCOMES NEW JAPANESE ENVOY: Senate President Manny Villar receives a gift from Japanese Ambassador Makoto Katsura during the former’s visit to the Senate. During the courtesy call, Villar cited the very important help the Japanese government is giving in the ongoing peace process between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front. The envoy started his tour of duty in the country last September.
