SENATOR EDGARDO J. ANGARA WITH THIS YEAR’S TEN OUTSTANDING COUNCILORS OF THE PHILIPPINES: Senator Angara give symbolic checks representing P500,000 worth of projects to the ten councilors. This is the highest award given to municipality legislators who showed exceptional commitment to public service. Senator Angara encouraged councilors to elevate the sense of public service by utilizing their budget for developmental projects rather than for plain consumption.
