ANGARA WELCOMES MOA RESTORING DEPED EMPLOYEES' BENEFITS: Senator Edgardo J. Angara lauds the recent signing of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) at Malacanang on solving the issue of the non-remittance of mandatory insurance contributions of around 800,000 employees of the Department of Education (DepEd).

The main signatories included Education Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro; Budget and Management Secretary Florencio B. Abad and GSIS President and General Manager Robert G. Vergara.

Witnessing the signing were President Benigno S. Aquino III and GSIS Chairman Daniel Lacson.
