MANGROVE PLANTING: Sen. Cynthia A. Villar leads the mangrove planting at Baseco Compound, Port Area, Manila. The senator, a staunch environment, has been encouraging the planting of mangroves to avert massive flooding especially in the coastal communities. She joined the Cavitex Advocates for the Restoration of Environment (Cavitex-CARE) and Kabalikat sa Kaunlaran ng Baseco during the planting of 500 seedlings in Baseco.
