CLARKFIELD, PAMPANGA: Senator Nancy Binay, who chairs the Senate committee on Tourism, laid out the priority legislative agenda of the Senate to advance and promote Philippine tourism during the 17th National Convention of the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) in Royce Hotel, in Clarkfield, Pampanga earlier today. Senator Binay emphasized the need to implement a sustainable tourism framework to achieve inclusive national growth. She also highlighted that each local government unit (LGU) should have a regularized position for a tourism officer to identify and develop tourism opportunities for each LGU in the country.
