Rise in teen pregnancies during quarantine: Sen. Risa Hontiveros, during Tuesday’s hybrid plenary session, September 15, 2020, raises concerns over the expected rise in teen pregnancy cases during COVID-19 quarantine. Hontiveros cited studies of the United Nations Population Fund and the University of the Philippines Population Institute which projected an additional 18,000 teen pregnancies under the Covid quarantine measures.
