Go on GCG Proposed budget: Sen. Bong Go, during the Finance Subcommittee E hybrid hearing, Wednesday, October 7, 2020, signifies his support for the proposed 2021 budget of the Governance Commission for Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GCG). Go said GCG serves as the watchdog for GOCCs to ensure that their operations are transparent and responsive to the needs of the public. “Let us just continue the changes introduced by our President against corruption. I’m sure that heads will roll. To those who are corrupt, don’t be complacent because we will go after you. It is for this reason that I support the budget of the GCG,” Go said.
