Binay on LWUA Projects: Sen. Nancy Binay asks Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) Administrator Jeci Lapus how much is the subsidy that the agency had received from the government in 2019 and 2020. Lapus told Binay during the virtual hearing on the proposed P667.32 billion budget of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Wednesday, October 14, 2020, that LWUA received P325 million and P345 million in 2019 and 2020, respectively but waived them in favor of the Covid-19 response and the Bayanihan Act.
