Continue immunization services: Sen. Bong Go urges the Department of Health (DOH) during the hybrid plenary session Wednesday, November 18, 2020, on the proposed budget of the agency for 2021, to make sure that immunization services against measles and polio will continue even if the country is currently focused on the Covid-19 pandemic. He also called on the DOH to further improve its information campaign on the government immunization plan especially when the vaccine for Covid-19 becomes available. “I call on the DOH to fully utilize its communications and health promotion budget especially during this pandemic. The DOH should have enough funds to implement a nationwide information and education campaign regarding the vaccination plan,” Go said. (Screen grab/Senate PRIB)
