Hearing on Recurring Flood Problem: Senate Committee on Public Works Chairman Sen. Emmanuel "Manny" D. Pacquiao presides over the hybrid public hearing Wednesday, November 25, 2020 tackling various resolutions calling for an inquiry into the massive flooding caused by water releases from dams triggered by the successive typhoons and continuous rains in Luzon and other flood related concerns. The committee also tackled several proposed measures seeking to establish rain water harvesting systems in the country. “As chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Works, I and other senators filed several resolutions to look into the recurring flood problem in the country and to look for solutions,” he said.
