Zubiri backs approval of DPWH’s 2022 budget: Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel “Migz” F. Zubiri, during the virtual hearing of Finance Subcommittee A on the proposed 2022 budget of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Tuesday, October 19, 2021, vows to support the approval of the P686 billion budget of the agency for next year. Zubiri also backed the appointment of former Southern Leyte Rep. Roger Mercado as head of the DPWH whom he described as a “very kind man”. “I fully support the (DPWH) budget and when we have our plenary session for the approval of the budget, we will be there to help out Sec.
