Ex PS-DBM Executive Director Lao’s empty posh Davao residence: The posh residence of Lloyd Christopher Lao, former executive director of the Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM), at P1 Blk 15 Lot 8, Le Jardin De Villa Abrilles Subdivision, Maa, Davao City lays empty as the Senate's Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) attempts to serve his warrant of arrest Saturday, November 13, 2021. The OSAA team led by Security and Enforcement Service Dir. Manuel Parlade said while they are able to get a certification from Filinvest Land Incorporation that the property is registered and owned by Lao, the house has already been vacant. Since Friday, members of the OSAA swooped down on Lao’s known properties in Davao and Cebu following the orders of Senate President Vicente Sotto and Blue Ribbon committee Chairperson Sen. Richard to arrest the former DBM official for skipping the hearings on the 2020 COA report related to the budget utilization of the Department of Health (DOH), particularly its COVID-19 expenditures.
