Poe thanks colleagues: Sen. Grace Poe, chairperson of the Committee on Public Services, expresses gratitude to her colleagues following the passage on third and final reading House Bill 10554 which seeks to expand the franchise area of Davao Light and Power Company, Inc. to areas in Davao City, Panabo City, Tagum City, the Island Garden City of Samal, and the municipalities of Carmen, Dujali, and Santo Tomas, Asuncion, Kapalong, New Corella, San Isidro and Talaingod in the province of Davao del Norte. Poe particularly thanked Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto for defending the proposed measure in plenary. “Thank you, Mr. President. Actually, I'm here just to manifest thanks to our colleagues for voting in the affirmative.
