SENATE HONORS SENATOR HELENA BENITEZ: Senator Loren Legarda, together with Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, Senator Pia Cayetano, and Senator Ramon Revilla, Jr., presents to former Senator Helena Zoila Benitez Senate Resolution 786, which honors Dr. Benitez for her contributions as a Senator, pioneer environmentalist, educator, advocate of culture and civil society leader. In sponsoring the Resolution, Legarda urged Filipinos to “replicate her (Dr. Benitez) fearlessness, vision, resilience, and innovative spirit that nourishes hope in a better, greener, and more sustainable future.”
